About Me “Life Change”

Hello to all,

I’m Ara Maysonet (my artistic name, Jaja), I born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico My siblings are one (1) older brother, and one (1) younger sister. My parents get divorced when I had the age of 7 years old.

I finished high school at the age of (15) fifteen years old at that moment I decided to study Industrial engineering at the Universidad Politecnica de San Juan but was only a short period because the cost of the education was too expensive. I’m the kind of person that does not have fear to work or get educated for that reason started working in different places like; restaurants, in educational institutions as a student recruiter, and as a travel agent after I finished my education in Tourism and Travel. 

Back that time people flying around the world after purchasing the tickets with their travel agent now is easy to buy airfare tickets or travel packages online, but still like that industry! A few years later, I get married and then I become a mother for the first time, that was an AMAZING moment ever.

What a big moment! around one year later I decide to register at the university to start my career education a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and Computer program. 

Wow! It was a fantastic moment in my life, I had the opportunity to continue my education and be a mom at the same time, btw my first baby girl was called Assyria, she is turning 21 soon. 

For some reason, I thought that I can finish my education in about 4 years but remember “life change”, we received the good news that I will be a mother for the second time. between my two girls, they had (6) years apart.

 In 2005 my second baby open her beautiful eyes to say HELLO to this world! Unfortunately, she was placed in the NICU medical unit for about a week since she was born with only 35 weeks. Ok, Did I mentioned previously that our Life Change all the time, right? Guess what … in 2007 we had decided to move out of Puerto Rico and starting a new life in Florida, having in mind that our girls in the future will need to learn another language and better education. That was a very HAPPY moment for me, Nice weather, beautiful communities, I was in love with Florida. The school for my girls has located inside the same community offering full equipped classrooms with new technology, I LOVE IT! The school system in Puerto Rico was different. 

Because we were already happily installed in Florida I decided to get educated in Real Estate and become a Sale Associate or Real Estate Agent. I become a real estate agent representing the firm Luxury Realty for many years working between Orlando and Kissimmee. 

After I had my second daughter, my career in education was in pause, but a few years later I decided to return to college for finish my BA in Information technology, but because I was involved in real estate which is a career that requires practicing law practice, I decide to include on my curriculum an interdisciplinary education in Paralegals. 

By adding that class, now I will be better prepared.

Florida provided me with opportunities to grow at the professional level plus be get educated. This career opened door to me becoming a business-woman as an independent agent.

Even I don’t have the time to work 8 hours a day in the continuing process because I need to lapse few hours to pick up my girls from school every day, I feel glad that I can be a businesswoman and a mom at the same time, and I ‘m teaching my girls that I always will be strong, determined, educated, hard worker and a lovely mom. 

I hoping that my girls received that message and repeat the story in their life and never become a quitter by facing all the obstacles. Even that I working and studying my BA, I became a Top Agent for the firm that I represent.

At the end of 2015, I decided to change from the real estate company that I was representing for almost 10 years. I took this decision because I want to explore other opportunities inside the real estate, plus I want to expand my vocabulary in English by being a force to speak more English, for that reason I decided to join a new firm called Contempo. They were a British Real Estate Firm located in Davenport Fl. Was one of the most fascinating and knowledgeable opportunities that I had in my life. After a short period with the new firm, I created first my real estate team inside the same company. With my team, together we were so dynamic that we proposed to our new firm Contempo change the Business Concept including there logos and business cards that they had for more than 26 years. That was a fantastic professional experience by bringing new air to the corporation that I was working! 

In 2017 I become a separate woman with 2 teenagers and my mother starting a new life together. Very though moment, big decisions, but with a lot of energy and committed to continuing my life without affecting the lives of others, by making the process easier for my girls with less stress, but sometimes I was to able experiencing scary and worrying moments. 

I was starting a new life by becoming a Mommy-Dad for my girls, but at the same time, I always keep a beautiful smile and work to keep a healthy brain to deal and facing my daily job activities and my personal life. 

Back with my professional life, I was able to expand my knowledge beyond traditional/ local real estate transactions. I started to work with Foreign national sellers by developing business with International clients from a lot of countries in Europe, Canada, Brazil, Venezuela, & Colombia and because with my knowledge and years of experience in real estate, I started helping my broker by reviewing the legal part of the transactions by monitoring some activities from the other brokerage agents.

After almost 4 years working with that new firm, I created a small team inside the same firm. But in 2019 we as a team decide to join a new firm. 

Now we are part of Premium Properties Real Estate Services. This company also believed in my talents and with only 3 months in the company I became a Mentor for new Real Estate Agents by helping them to understand how to do a business, how to run a business and how to become a professional in their business. Teaching is my passion. Having the opportunity to share my knowledge with others and see all of them become successful professionals is for a satisfactory moment. The team is now 20+ agents and I hope to have the opportunity to teach more people.

In 2019 I received the offer to become a Vice President for South USA and Puerto Rico for the firm Villas and Home, which is a company where with help home owners, and Business Owners involved in the hospitality industry.

Our perspective of life will determine our level of success. Don’t matter all the up-side-down of life the way that will be facing them is the matter. I still looking to expand myself at a personal and professional level. I know that one day I will be able to say: I did it!, I’m here and I’m happy -blessed person.
I will never stop to learn, and I will never stop to teach and I will stop share what life teaches me.

For that reason I always say: “Life Change all the time”!
